It is possible to get onto the River Cam via the Great Ouse. It is also possible to use the Middle Level Navigations.
Originally known as the Granta, in fact some parts still are. Navigable from Cambridge to where it joins the Great Ouse at Stretham.
Jesus Lock is approx 75 feet, Baits Bite Lock is approx 100 feet and Bottisham Lock is approx 85 feet. These measurements have been taken using Google Maps zoomed in. We have erred on the side of caution. Please check before cruising. If you're in a narrow-boat and less than 72 feet, you should be fine.
