Narrowboats Ltd is built on a team that has a combined experience in the industry of over 50 years. We are based in Northwich, Cheshire at Wincham Wharf. The Wharf has been a boatyard since 1777, 3 years after its construction. It is still a maintained and functional boat yard with ourselves based in the main office onsite.
Wincham Wharf is one of the oldest complexes on the Trent & Mersey canal. The three story wharf building constructed in 1774, three years before the opening of the canal. The object being to service the building of the canal side facility. The building, now a public house, still has three floors and retains the original pulley and hoist system used to raise sacks between differing floor levels.
Narrowboats Ltd, Wincham Boat Sales has been established since 2010 initially as a boat brokerage.
While retaining the brokerage side of the business in 2012 we also moved into the new build market with the introduction of our exclusive 9’ slimline wide beam range.
Our team is dedicated to a high level of customer service and pride ourselves on our ability to make friends in a competitive industry. We share a wealth of experience and knowledge in both new & used narrowboats and wide beams. For buyers, we aim to match you with the boat that best suits your needs and budget.
