Situated on the banks of the historic Bugsworth canal basin, this dog-friendly inn is perfectly positioned for both a gentle stroll or challenging hike, or even a cycle stop. Nestled in the hills of the Peak District, you can enjoy good plates of home cooked fare, real ales and a good selection of spirits including gins.
There’s a place for everyone; outside you will find seats on the patio or in the enclosed beer garden. Inside you will find a range of rooms from the main restaurant right through to the bar or games room. Finally there is somewhere to rest your head in one of our six en-suite rooms.
For the narrowboating community, the Basin is a prime location with plenty of mooring spaces within. We are an ideal place to meet your biking, hiking and boating friends in a warm family atmosphere.
