Grindley Brook Locks are a set of six locks, including a three-rise set, located on the Llangollen Canal in Shropshire.

The locks are part of a historic waterway, which has been a key transport route since the 18th century. The locks are situated between the villages of Grindley Brook quite close to Whitchurch.

The Grindley Brook Locks are the steepest set of locks on the entire Llangollen Canal, with a total rise of 65 feet. They are also known for their impressive architecture, with each lock consisting of two pairs of gates, one at each end. The locks are constructed from stone and brick, and feature ornate carvings, such as the traditional lion's head carvings which adorn the gates.

The locks are also home to a variety of wildlife, including kingfishers, moorhens and mallards. The Grindley Brook Locks are well-maintained, and the surrounding area is looked after by both the Canal & River Trust and the local community. The locks are open all year round, although they are particularly busy during the summer months, when canal boat holidays are popular.

Grindley Brook Locks are an important part of the history of the Llangollen Canal, and are a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. They are a great example of the beauty and engineering of the canal, and are a reminder of the importance of the canal to the region. They are also a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, and offer a unique insight into the history of the canal.
